They are now friends

I am happy for my daughter. She is friends again with her bestfriend.

One Big Fight

My daughter, Neya, welcomed me home with a sad face. After I settled down, I asked her how was school? She gave a big deep breath and said, "Nag-away kami ni Ayela." Neya had her first big serious fight with her bestfriend. I did not know what to say to her. I was excited and sad at the same time knowing that this was a serious matter for my daughter.

She said, that they were playing with friends and talking about each other when Ayela innocently commented that Neya is always imitating her. This offended Neya and made her upset. Everybody noticed Neya was upset including her teacher. Realizing what was happening, Neya's teacher tried to reconcile the two bestfriends.  But Neya was so upset she did not respond even when Ayela asked for forgiveness. Sometimes you just have to let people cool down. I know somebody who does that, and I'm pretty sure that's Neya got it from her. Hehehe...

But Neya feels better now. After pouring out her sentiment, she can smile again. She is writing a letter to her bestfriend telling her that she is sorry too and their friendship means a lot to her and no matter what, they will be bestfriends forever.

Today is Neya's little brother's first day in nursery scool. After we brought his brother to school, Neya asked me with a worried look in her face, "Dad, how can Ken write his name? He does not know the letters yet."

I can feel the stress in the very concerned sister.
