Nea said "Dad I don't want to go to Sunday School because I lack something. You did not give me an offering." I said "well you can give anything to God that is important to you." She said "does God like lollipop?"
Starting kids young in giving will teach them to show their love to God by sharing and being generous. But more than that it teaches the kids to give back to God what really belongs to them. Even at an early age these kids teaches us that our worship is not complete if we go to church but not bring back what belongs to God.
